This is a great example of a low maintenance garden, featuring plants that are both hardy and require minimal pruning and watering.

The beautiful feature tree in the large white pot is a Dragon Tree (Dracaena Draco).

No Mow Grass (Zoysia tenuifolia) covers the ground in a lush green carpet.

Trailing over the wall are:
Dichondra repens (or could also be Dichondra Silver Falls),
Cousin it (Casuarina glauca 'She-Oak')

This relatively formal garden brings a tropical touch by using a feature palm.

The Foxtail Palm (Wodyetia bifurcata) is a great option as it's low maintenance and referred to as a 'clean palm', meaning it drops it's fronds on it's own (rather than having to cut them off).

The front hedge has been pruned into a box shape, leaving it tall enough to create privacy by blocking out road noise. Mock Orange (Murraya paniculata) is a great choice.

Near the home's entrance, are some topiary standards like Acmena smithii (Allyn Magic) which creates a unique feature.

An interesting mix of hardy plants makes this otherwise bland retaining wall an excellent feature.

Cousin it's cover the front retaining wall, with a mix of Cyads and Bromeliads dotted in between.

A Murraya Min-a-min hedge tops the wall, with Magnolia Teddy Bear and an Olive tree behind.
